Jeanie Collins-Duffield, CPDT, founded Beyond Obedience over 25 years ago with the purpose of going beyond basic obedience training - to help develop a relationship based on trust and understanding between people and their dogs.

Based in the Reno/Sparks/Lake Tahoe/Truckee area of Nevada and California, Beyond Obedience provides a complete network of services for all dogs, owners, organizations, and communities throughout the United States, Canada and beyond.

Beyond Obedience can assist you with your dog's needs using positive, creative, cutting edge techniques, information and effective methods.

• Providing effective training for puppy, adolescent or adult dogs. This can be accomplished through group classes, clinics, private in-home training or telephone consultation and coaching.
• Selecting the appropriate dog for your lifestyle and family, whether it be a purebred puppy, or a two year old shelter dog
• Setting up the house ("puppy proofing") before the dog or puppy arrives.
• Educating the humans before the dog or puppy arrives.
