| I use a variety of methods, but focus primarily on positive reinforcement. I have a wide range of “tools” in my “toolkit” as I have had so many years of experience working with thousands of dogs AND their people. My goal is to make learning fun and interesting for both the dog and their person, which means I need to be as positive and as creative as I can be. Using punitive techniques causes stress and breakdowns in relationships and I am not willing to compromise my love and understanding of dogs and people to use them. |
